Fritz Schermer

Fritz brings over 30 years of experience to Carey & Giampa gleaned from owning and operating a general contracting business. He is well-versed in all aspects of home ownership, from plumbing and electrical systems to carpentry.  He has advised clients and collaborated with them to create innovative, thoughtful ways to change and improve their living spaces.

Fritz has cultivated and maintained long lasting relationships with clients, his “repeat customers.” It is his goal to continue this with customers and friends through Carey & Giampa.

Fritz has a gift for helping people, a way of listening and understanding their needs. He is here to help you sell your home (which may include preparing it for sale) or finding the home that’s perfect for you.

Hailing from Germany where he owned two businesses as well, he now loves the seacoast and all it has to offer.  He enjoys hiking the scenic mountains with his two Labrador retrievers or just walking them along the beach! He considers himself a soccer aficionado, having coached young children and played the game all of his life, most recently in an adult soccer league.

Fritz lives in York with Neville and Maisie (the pups) and his wife, Gerry, with whom he continues to make enhancements to his own property both inside and out!
